Let’s take a look at several ways of adding borders or frames to a photo in Luminar Neo. Applying overlays with frames The simplest way to add a frame to the photo is to use a specially created PNG file with the saved transparency. 1. To apply such a frame, add it as above your main picture. Remember to set the Opacity of the frame under the Layer Properties tool to 100 for better visibility. 2. Adjust the size of the frame by clicking on one of the Image Mapping options under - usually Fit or Stretch work well for this: You may also adjust the size of each layer additionally by dragging one of its corner points. 3. Close the Layer Properties tool by clicking on it. The picture with the border is now ready for export. ! Note that our also has the overlay packs with frames. Prepare the picture you would like to put in a frame and add it to Luminar Neo. 3. Now, let’s add the prepared white background file as a layer. 4. Now click on the main photo to place it in the center against the background. 7. Select the white background layer and go to Set the Opacity slider to 100.

Placing a photo in a frame from another interior photo
Prepare the photo that you would like to place in a frame on your computer.
Open another photo with the frame itself in Luminar Neo > Edit Tab:
Then go to the Layers Properties tool > Masking > (Subtract) and mark the internal part of the picture in the frame to remove it. 4. If some tiny areas haven’t disappeared from inside of the picture frame, use Masking > (Erase) to remove them. Make sure that the softness of the Brush is set to 0. 5. Now add the prepared photo from your computer as a layer:
6. As the new image has appeared under Layers, set its Opacity to 100 and make sure the Image Mapping is switched to “Fit”.
7. Make this photo smaller to fit the frame by dragging one of its corner points inward and place it over the frame: 8. Now, put the layer with the photo below the layer with the frame: 9.
