# Turn on/off Luminar Neo auto-updates for macOS

Once the new update is released, open Luminar Neo -> click on the <kbd>Update Available</kbd> button or, alternatively, click on Luminar Neo  > <kbd>Check for Updates</kbd>  > Automatically download and install updates in the future:

### Turn off

1\. Close Luminar NEO if it is open

2\. Open the [**Terminal**](https://support.apple.com/uk-ua/guide/terminal/apd5265185d-f365-44cb-8b09-71a064a42125/mac) app (Other → Terminal)

3\. Use the command **defaults delete com.skylum.luminarneo SUAutomaticallyUpdate**
