# Details

Learn how to use Enhance AI to automatically adjust light, color, and detail, making your photo editing fast and effective.

The **Details** tool gives you precise control over image sharpness and definition. Use it to enhance fine, medium, or larger details independently, or sharpen the image overall.

**How to Use:** Select the Details tool, then adjust the sliders to control the sharpness and enhance detail in your photo.

* **Sharpen.** Increases the overall sharpness of the photo by making edges appear more defined. Use it carefully, as too much sharpening can make the image look grainy or unnatural.
* **Large Details.** Enhances larger structures and contours in the photo. Increase the value to make prominent shapes and edges more defined, or decrease it for a softer look.
* **Medium Details.** Controls the definition of medium-sized details. Increase the value to bring out more texture and structure, or decrease it to soften them.
* **Small Details.** Controls the finest details and textures in the photo. Increase the value to make subtle textures more visible, or decrease it for a smoother appearance.

**When to Use:** Ideal for bringing out textures, refining edges, and adding definition to photos that look slightly soft or lack detail.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://support.skylum.com/luminar-for-web/how-to-use-luminar-for-web/editing-tools/develop/details.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
