# Color

Learn how to effortlessly remove unwanted objects from your images using Luminar for Desktop’s advanced Erase tool.

The **Color** tool lets you adjust the overall color balance and intensity of your photo. Use it to correct unwanted color casts, fine-tune white balance, or make colors appear more vivid or subtle.

**How to Use:** Select the Color tool and adjust the sliders to fine-tune the colors in your photo.

* **Temperature.** Adjusts the warmth or coolness of the photo. Move the slider toward blue for a cooler look or toward yellow for a warmer look.
* **Tint.** Adjusts the balance between green and magenta. Use it to correct unwanted color casts or fine-tune the overall color balance.
* **Saturation.** Controls the intensity of all colors in the photo. Increase the value for richer, more vivid colors, or decrease it for a more muted look.
* **Vibrance.** Adjusts color intensity more selectively, enhancing less saturated colors while helping already vivid colors remain balanced.

**When to Use:** Ideal for correcting white balance and unwanted color casts, enhancing dull colors, or creating a specific color mood in your photo.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://support.skylum.com/luminar-for-web/how-to-use-luminar-for-web/editing-tools/develop/color.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
